After thinking right up to the last minute that I
wasn't going to commit to the
RPM Challenge (create an album in the 28 days of February), since I had just finished my EP
Imaginary Numbers... I did.
The working title is "Sacred/Profane" since to leverage the time I've decided to work on creating looping arrangements of December seasonal holiday carols, which will give me material to pitch gigs I couldn't get last December that wanted that genre. But as I also need more regular material for gigging the other 11 months, it will also contain some of that.
I'd done a few "in my head" arrangements during the week, so yesterday I ran some really rough test recordings just to verify I was on the right track, i.e., not only did they sound okay but that the arrangements were doable on my looper.
